Emerging poetic alt-pop princess Elle Greenbaum AKA ellakate is about to drop your next favourite song. The Atlanta, Georgia based artist blends passionate songwriting with hypnotic melodies that leave listeners instantly addicted.

The up and coming songstress is releasing the emotional ballad ‘If You Want Me To’ on Nov 18. This comforting tune explores themes of love, loss, friendship and unrequited love. The song certainly has a knack for making you feel less alone with feelings that can feel unbelievably isolating.

The song takes you on a journey of ellakate's love for her friend - from daydreaming of romance to letting them go so they can be happy. Inspired by the likes of Amy Winehouse and Lana Del Ray. The power of vulnerability is ever present throughout this stunning emotional execution. 

“This song is special to me because it is one of the first times I was able to write about my personal feelings and experiences,” says ellakate. "I know it may seem odd, but I really would have helped my friend get with their crush just to see them happy.
