Kärma Sounds is this moniker of Vancouver based singer/songwriter Karina Morin. The talented songstress is known for her work with the eclectic funk outfit Coco Jafro.

Karina is renowned for her impressive musical prowess and stage presence. Kärma Sounds is Karina’s exciting new solo project. The debut single “Let’s Stay Home Tonight” makes it clear she is definitely one to watch.

This soulful and sensual lullaby is a solid introduction for this fresh new project. She is inspired by female legends such as Sade, Chaka Khan, The Eurythmics, Fleetwood Mac and Norah Jones. Her music blends electro soul and R & B- harkening back to 70s and 90s with a refreshing modern approach. “Let’s Stay Home Tonight” is a lovely track about the great indoors, specifically with a loved one by your side. It is tender and warm- just in time for fall.

Karina shares “ I wanted to create a song that not only resonates with people but also offers a sense of solace and hope. I hope to inspire couples to find joy and connection in little moments spent together when circumstances keep us apart physically.”

This song is also accompanied by a beautiful music video that truly grasps the intimate tone. The video was directed by the talented Jack Madeley.
